Arboretum in Budafa
A beautiful countryside welcomes you in the Arboretum in Budafa all year long; however, visitors are presented by the awe-inspiring sight especially in May when the arboretum bursts into blooms: violet, yellow, red, white and claret-coloured – rhododendrons look glorious in the great variety of colours.
Fragrant rhododendrons, open-air fire places, little ponds, sculptures and memorial places give a deserved and appropriate environment to the hunter castle built in 1926. The real favourite of children is the Makk-Kaland Játszótér (Acorn Adventure Playground); each of its elements was made of acacia wood, with a unique xylography.
